Career Enhancement and Resilience Training (CERT)
This Career Enhancement and Resilience Training (CERT) is highly valued and an integral part of the well-rounded RWS MBA. Whilst higher education has been traditionally focused predominately on the development of essential technical skills and knowledge, the overwhelming industry view is that graduates often have a skill gap in the core career development and progression areas.
We understand that not everyone wants to work for an employer after an MBA and not everyone has the capacity to set up their own business even after an MBA. However, how do you find out what your personality is, what you love and what you want to do and most especially how to do it?
However, in the real world, these career choices are fundamental for career progression and crucial for a well-rounded graduate who can navigate the challenges of the working world. These are the sorts of graduates that employers seek and the kinds of graduates that set up their enterprises to be employers of labour.
Whether you are in employment or you run your own business or enterprise, there is need to understand professional sustainability and this is particularly important now in an era with constant changes and economic disruptions.
Have you done a job for a long time and you know you need more? Are you convinced of what you need to do professionally but you do not know how to actually start? Are you running a business and you struggle to grow it? Do you appreciate the importance of research and increasing your professional knowledge so that you can stay relevant in a changing professional world? These are questions that this career course carefully answers.
